Manpath: Undefined variable

Post by Hossan » Mon Nov 25, 2019 3:28 pm

Hello,

I am trying install pgi for linux in centos by following instruction from https://www.pgroup.com/resources/docs/1 ... inux-steps

But in section 4.2: Installation steps for linux; I am trying set environment by using

% setenv MANPATH "$MANPATH":/opt/pgi/linux86-64/19.10/man

Which giving me error
MANPATH: Undefined variable

Would you please help me?
Thanks in advance

That just means that you don't have MANPATH already set. Try using:

Code: Select all

setenv MANPATH /opt/pgi/linux86-64/19.10/man
Hope this helps,
Mat
