Hi,
I am getting unresolved external sysmbol error when i try to compile/link cu file with pgcpp.

I am using the squares.cu file given with this tutorial

any suggestions are welcome

sorry I forgot to mention that the C and CPP files are working fine. I am able to debug as well. But the problem occurs when linking .cu files.

Hi alamgirian5680,

What OS are you using? If it's Win32 then this is a known issue that will be addressed in the 12.0 release. Otherwise, can you post more information such as the OS, compiler version and an example of the link error?

Hi,
thanks for the reply. yes it is win32 system(XP)
the squares.cu compiles withour error but the linking is problematic

The work around is to use 64-bit Windows or Linux.
