This is the error message I get when I try to compile my file unf2forx.f:

PGF90-F-0010-File write error occurred (AST file) (unf2forx.f) PGF90/any Linux/x86-64 6.1-6: compilation aborted

Resolved problem myself. /tmp had filled up and would not allow writes to it.
