Is there a reason you have to define _GCC_ to get this datatype?

Hi Michael,

I see this variable defined in /usr/include/linux/types.h and that it is guarded by a "__GNUC__" define flag. Fortunately, "u_int64_t" is simply a typedef for an unsigned long long so adding the following line to your application's header file(s) should work.
Code:
#ifdef __PGI
typedef unsigned long long u_int64_t;
#endif

Hope this helps,
Mat
