Does pgcc have an implementation for byteswap.h and bits/byteswap.h? On x86_64 with SuSE 9.3, when the standard OS headers are included for these files, the bswap_64 macro is not defined and the macros that are defined are less efficient because GNUC is not defined by the compiler.

Is there a solution for this with pgcc?

Hi Michael,

We do not currently have an implementation for byteswap.h and bits/byteswap.h. However, we are in the the process of adding more GNUC extensions so I've submitted a feature request (TPR#3859) and hopefully we can add these header files to a future release.

Thanks,
Mat
