Hi,

I am very new to coding and debugging. I searched a bit online for a solution to my problem but was unable to find a solution.

I want to debug a piece of code that I launch with command line input parameters read-in (see below). I tried a variety of approaches but was not able to successfully launch pgdbg for gasbetaf90.x with the input parameters included.

How do I launch the PG debugger for the program gasbetaf90.x with the input parameters included?

Thank you for any input!

Code:
./gasbetaf90.x << EOF
gasbetaf90.inp

I'd probably put the data into a file (say, input.dat), load the program into the debugger, bring up the command prompt window, and after setting my breakpoints or whatever, enter
Code:
run < input.dat

You can also use the menus to set up your command line arguments if you want to avoid the command prompt window.
