Hi I saw at insidehpc that pgi has working AMD support for OpenACC model.. I think I saw some device info saying CAL version and that troubles me since CAL is not supported on MACOS.. so some question:
*AMD GPU is being use via OpenCL or CAL interface?. if cal used are you going to support Macos? how? also if OpenCL is supported will that also allow using Intel HD 4000 GPUs on PGI for Windows?
*Can we expect some beta support in H1 releases i.e. in 13.6 for example?
*Can we expect some OpenACC 2.0 features via CAL/OpenCL backends..

Hi pgio,

The current schedule (which is subject to change) is to have a closed beta in July. The closed beta will most like still have the OpenCL back-end. However, for the open beta which will occur a few months after the closed, are planning on new better performing back-end.

Not in the near future and this support will in large part be dependent upon AMD.

We have no current plans for supporting Intel embedded graphics chips.

OpenACC 2.0 support is a separate effort and the features we add for NVIDIA targets would also be added for AMD targets. There may be some differences between targets, but this would be the goal.
