I am using a tool that requires pgcpp1, and from what I can tell, the portland group released a binary version of this file and is available at the SUIF research compiler website. I also have, for research purposes, the EDG front end source code.

The question I have is: does anybody know if I can use the EDG source code to generate the pgcpp1 binary, or would I need something else?

Thanks, and sorry if I put this information in the wrong forum.

John -

pgcpp1 can be created from a very old version of the EDG source plus some SUIF specific
edits. I believe you can still contact Monica Lam <lam@cs.stanford.edu> to get this version.
You'll need to show her that you have EDG approval.
