When I compile a Fortran program within Visual Studio 2010, often I do not get clear error messages. The compiler just reports "fail" and compilation aborted, but no indication of the error type or in what line it occurred.
Is there a setting I am missing?

Thanks,

Reinaldo

Hi Reinaldo,

To see the errors, please select the 'Error list' tab next to the 'output' tab. Also, opening the "Build log" (shown as a link in the output window), will show the full details of the build.

Hope this helps,
Mat
