Hello,
I have this simple question regarding a READ command, which returns IOSTAT=202 and sometimes IOSTAT=209. I tried searching the user guide to find what this means, but I couldn't find it. Any hints on this issue? Where can I find a complete list of READ error codes?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

These IOSTAT numbers are documented in appendix B.4 "Fortran Runtime Error Messages" in the PGI User's Guide (http://www.pgroup.com/doc/pgiug.pdf).

202 - conflicting specifiers

Conflicting specifiers have been passed to an I/O runtime routine. Example: within an OPEN statement form='unformatted', blank='null'.

209 - 'OLD' specified for file that does not exist

Hope this helps,

Mark
