Hi,

I downloaded the new release 11.1 of the PGI compilers for linux to upgrade (I have active subscription). Should I delete the old installation and install the new release or there is a more preferred method? I am also wondering whether my current license file (generated for release 10.9) will work with the new release.

Thanks,

PGI releases can be co-installed so there is no need to uninstall older versions.

Licensing is date based entitling customers to all releases prior to the end of your subscription period. I took the liberty of looking at your licenses and found that you are well within your subscription period so should not need to regenerate your licenses.

Hope this helps,
Mat
