I obtained and academic license for Visual Fortran last fall. This license is non-transferable.

After a power supply and XP failure I am starting the same PC with a new/different XP install on a alternate hdd. When trying to get PGI Visual Fortran reinstalled the PGI license acquisition errors out with the message that there are no seats available for this license. When I log into the PGI website there is no option to release and renew the license there.

Now I am still trying to use my license on the same physical PC - any suggestions?

Hi MFalk,

Please send a note to 'license@pgroup.com' including your PIN number. Customer service will need to first delete the license for your old system before you can generate a new one.
