Hi Subhash,

We support AMD64, EM64T, and IA32 but do not support IA64. Please contact Gaussian for more information about compiling on a IA64.

Thanks,
Mat

This is one of the probelms with Itanium, 32-bit binaries won't work. Please contact Gaussian for more information about their support of Itanium.

Thanks,
Mat

Hello Subhash,

An excellent compiler for Itanium is the Intel Compiler. It is inexpensive.

I tried to compile g98 on Opteron, but my rev was too old. The make files required such extensive modifications that in the end I gave up and bought g03 binaries for Opteron. Good luck on your project.
