When i try to run ./pgprof i get the message ,' pgprof requires java JRE version 1.5.0_04 or higher to run ",though i have installed the jre,what could be the problem

Hi,

You will need to make sure PATH is set to your JRE, PGI also attached and install a version that will work with pgprof. You can set PATH to $PGI/linux86-64/7.1-4/jre/bin:$PATH
