Hi Subhash,
We support AMD64, EM64T, and IA32 but do not support IA64. Please contact Gaussian for more information about compiling on a IA64.
Thanks,

This is one of the probelms with Itanium, 32-bit binaries won't work. Please contact Gaussian for more information about their support of Itanium.
Thanks,

Hello Subhash,
An excellent compiler for Itanium is the Intel Compiler. It is inexpensive.
I tried to compile g98 on Opteron, but my rev was too old. The make files required such extensive modifications that in the end I gave up and bought g03 binaries for Opteron. Good luck on your project. |
