|
|
I'm using PGI 7.0.7 on a x86_64 cluster.
When doing compile works, added the -Mprof=mpi,func tag.
However, the profile result don't contain any MPI communication infos.
The Messages and Bytes column in PGPROF are all filled with 0.
What's the matter? Does their have any other compile tag, that I didn't set
properly?
Thanks very much for answering... |

What version of MPI are you using?
- In 7.0 MPI profiling only worked with the version of MPICH-1 that was delivered with the PGI CDK.
- In 7.1 it has been modified so that you can use
-Mprof=mpich1
-Mprof=mpich2
-Mprof=mvapich1
this is with the versions of MPI delivered with the PGI CDK.
