Hi

I can usually use pgprof with no problem, but currently when I try and run it, it hangs while loading the pgprof.out file. It doesn't produce any errors messages either. The pgprof.out file looks fine, so I was wondering whether there are any secret debug flags to pgprof that I can use to try and diagnose what is going on. I use pgprof -text, if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

Hi pkb,

It's most likely a bug in the profiler or a change in your environment. What version of the compilers and tools do you use? Have you or anyone else changed your installation environment or upgraded recently? Do the compilers and pgdbg work? Does pgprof work with a simple program?

Thanks,
Mat
