Can the Portland Group's Debugger for the Linux Operating System and C/C++ workstation go forwards and backwards?

I know that some of the newer debuggers advertise this capability. It sounds very nice. It would to move backwards (as needed) when stepping through code during debugging.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi THX 1138,

No, backwards stepping is not supported in PGDBG. I asked our tools manager who says that he is aware of this capability, but since you're the first user to request this feature, it's not something we've considered adding. He'll put on his list for future consideration.

Thanks,
Mat
